Hi! I’m Oliver,
and since 2024 I’ve been creating useful and fun things with my 3D printers. It’s a one-man show—I handle everything myself, from design and research to product photography and shop management. I put a lot of care into making sure everything I create is the best it can be
I didn’t really think much about 3D printing until the day I wanted to print my own Guitar Hero guitar.
After a bit of research and an impulsive purchase of a 3D printer, that became my first project.
It turned out to be more complicated than I expected, so I ended up buying a guitar on eBay and just modifying it with 3D-printed parts.
The guitar quickly became secondary because I had a new fascination with 3D printing. But it wasn’t easy. The printer needed constant attention, repairs, and skills I hadn’t mastered yet. It was a bit overwhelming, so I sold the printer and stepped away.
A year later, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I imagined all the possibilities—things I could make not just for myself, but for others to enjoy too. This time, I approached it with focus. I spent time learning about different printers, brands, and how to bring my own designs to life.
I was amazed at how much the technology had advanced. The printer was no longer the limiting factor—now it was me. I realized I needed design skills and software knowledge to fully make the most of it.
To start a project, I decided to print a life-sized sword from World of Warcraft, the Lich King’s iconic weapon. That project introduced me to post-processing and taught me what it takes to turn 3D prints into finished, polished pieces.
The sword is still a work in progress. While I handled the printing and post-processing, my girlfriend is painting it, which takes time and precision.
After months of practice, failed prototypes, and lots of wasted material, I finally created my first real product—the wave-shaped remote control holder. It’s elegant, functional, and it’s still my bestseller today. Creating something people love gave me a huge motivation boost.
Now I spend every day bringing new ideas to life, creating products I fully stand behind.3D printing is not only practical with low production costs, which lets me keep prices fair, but it also allows for incredible quality when paired with the right design and skills. I use recyclable and environmentally friendly materials, which is really important to me too.
